Two Instruments – Endless Creativity
Strike Strings includes two powerful and distinct NKI instruments, offering different ways to inject energy into your tracks:
1. Phrases NKI: Instantly Inspiring Riffs & Ostinatos
- 17 Unique Phrase Styles: Access a diverse collection of short, impactful rhythmic and melodic string phrases. Think driving ostinatos, dramatic stabs, and energetic rhythmic patterns.
- Playable in All Keys: Trigger these powerful phrases easily across the keyboard, automatically adapting to your chosen key signature.
- Multiple Time Signatures: Go beyond standard 4/4 with included phrases in 6/8, 5/8, and 7/8 for added rhythmic versatility.
- Instant Cinematic Impact: These aren’t static notes; they are complete, energetic performances ready to drop straight into your productions.
2. Chords NKI: Build Powerful Progressions
- 15 Unique Chord Performance Styles: Explore a range of dynamic performances featuring both Major and Minor chords. From powerful sustained chords to rhythmic pulsed patterns.
- Playable in All 12 Keys: Easily trigger full chord performances across the keyboard.
- Customizable Progression Builder: While the performances are pre-recorded, the instrument allows you to sequence these chord triggers to build your own custom progressions effortlessly.
- Multiple Time Signatures: Includes chord performances designed for 4/4, 6/8, 5/8, and 7/8 meters.
New Update: Bonus MIDI for Ultimate Flexibility!
Strike Strings now gives you even more creative power with the inclusion of Bonus MIDI Files! Inside the download package, you’ll find a dedicated MIDI folder containing files corresponding to the 15 unique chord performance styles, provided in all major and minor keys.
- Layer with Any Instrument: Drag and drop these MIDI files directly into your DAW.
- Customize & Adapt: Edit the notes, rhythms, and voicings to perfectly fit your composition.
- Expand Your Palette: Use this MIDI data to trigger other virtual instruments in your collection – imagine layering these powerful string rhythms with brass stabs, woodwind runs, or aggressive synth lines!
Important Note: Strike Strings itself is a performance-based library; playing MIDI notes directly into the plugin won’t trigger individual samples like a traditional multi-sampled library. The included MIDI files are a separate bonus, designed specifically to give you the rhythmic and harmonic blueprint of the chord performances to use freely with your other sound sources.
Effortless Workflow, Powerful Sound
Strike Strings is designed for speed and flexibility:
- Versatile Mix Variations: Each NKI patch (Phrases and Chords) offers three distinct mix options accessible directly within the interface:
- Full: The complete string ensemble sound.
- Low Strings: Focuses on the powerful cellos and basses section.
- High Strings: Highlights the soaring violins and violas section.
Easily shape the weight and focus of your string parts without needing complex external mixing.
- Tempo-Synced Performances: All phrases and chord performances automatically lock to your host DAW’s tempo, ensuring everything stays perfectly in time, no matter how fast or slow your project tempo.
