Emerald Filter
The Emerald Filter is a part of Emerald 2, taking inspiration from the exceptional processors crafted in Germany during the 1960s and ’70s. It enhances the filtering capabilities found in its larger counterpart. With low and high pass filter cells, you can adjust the slope from a gentle 6dB/octave to an uncommon 36dB/octave. It also includes the same preamp stage found in the plugin suite’s equalizer.
Emerald E200 EQ
The Emerald 2 E200 is a dual-mono EQ emulation inspired by a famous German parametric equalizer. It features a preamp stage and seven individually switchable filters. These filters can be finely adjusted, from narrow notches to broad bell-shaped curves. You can also control the gain with a range of +/-12dB, adjust bass and treble bands, and utilize low/high-cut filters with a steep 36dB/octave slope. This EQ was favored by top engineers and renowned bands like Pink Floyd in the past, making it a versatile solution for many audio needs.
