AtrumLab Rumor [MAC]

atrumlab rumor | Plugin Crack

The newest machine from the lab: chop, pitch, morph and glide, all driven by one engine. Out now for macOS and Windows — launch price while it lasts.

What it does

Any sound in. Cut to the grid, pitched, reversed, echoed. Then a star that turns a take into an idea.

Morph console

The engine on one panel. MORPH sets how deep the chops go, GLIDE how the pitch slides between them. PITCH and CHOP are stepped: musical intervals, short or long slices, or random. SYNC locks the whole map to the host grid.

Morph map

Two bars of sixteenths with the chops laid on them. Zoom from two bars down to a quarter. Roll the dice and the map lands on the strong beats; the bin clears it.

Map editor

Draw the map yourself. Double-click to add or remove a chop, drag positions and lengths on a 1/16 grid, set pitch and repeats, flip reverse, draw the volume of every repeat. The filter and its LFO live on the same screen.

Glitch scope

A CRT screen that draws the input and every chop as it fires: pitch and repeat count on each marker. The same screen records the output to a WAV, and hosts the Magic star.

Patch bay

Three pedals wired in order. RVRS flips slices before or after the chops. ECHO is a worn tape delay with rate, feedback, cut and WEAR. M-PITCH loops a bar down to an eighth and slows it 2x or 1.5x. Every knob here is an LFO target.

Magic

Record anything, press the star. Rumor finds the loud moments, cuts the silence and builds an accent, a phrase or a loop on the grid. Reverse, stutter, sometimes a filter or a reverb. The last four ideas stay in the history. Drag the file straight into the DAW.

In and out

Input gain in, output gain out, a bypass lamp between them. After the chain: master pitch, a soft safety compressor and a touch of saturation, then the MIX knob. Nothing leaves too hot.

100+ presets

The [LAB] series ships inside the plugin and grows with every update. Favourites, search, user folders that become sections of their own.
