You are a pioneer on the bleeding edge of heavy music. You tune lower, you write more intricate riffs, and you demand more from your gear than any generation before. But you’ve faced the eternal struggle: the moment your seismic low-tuned riffs hit a traditional amplifier, they turn to mud. The precision is lost, the power is choked, and your technicality is bottlenecked by gear that was never meant to handle the apocalypse.
No more compromises. No more bottlenecks.
Prepare to unleash Absylon, the apex predator of extended-range guitar plugins from Aurora DSP. Forged from a monstrous 200-watt hybrid guitar/bass amplifier, Absylon was engineered with one purpose: to deliver bone-crushing weight and surgical precision to the lowest-tuned guitars. This is the weapon you need to conquer the depths of musical mayhem.
Engineered for Annihilation, Built for Articulation
Absylon isn’t just another high-gain plugin; it is a purpose-built solution for the modern metal guitarist. It effortlessly handles the fundamental frequencies of 8-string guitars in E standard, providing a foundation-cracking tone that remains tight, articulate, and devastatingly heavy.
This is the ultimate tool for Djent, death metal, and any genre where your technical ability can no longer be held back by your amplifier. Absylon’s unparalleled clarity ensures that every complex chord, every palm-muted chug, and every lightning-fast run cuts through with ferocious definition.
Simple Controls. Devastating Results.
We’ve stripped away the unnecessary complications to provide a streamlined path to a perfect, destructive tone. This is your arsenal for sonic warfare.
- Grind Mode: This isn’t a gentle push; it’s a full-on assault. Engage the built-in boost to step into the next level of brutality, tightening your low end and adding the perfect layer of aggressive saturation for a modern, mix-ready sound.
- Precision 4-Knob Tone Stack: No fluff. No endless menus. Just four responsive controls to rapidly sculpt your ideal tone, from scooped-mid devastation to punchy, aggressive grit.
- Essential Noise Gate: Tame the hiss and tighten your chugs. The integrated, lightning-fast noise gate is the key to achieving the machine-gun rhythmic precision that modern metal demands.
- Low-Tuned IR Mixer: Forget bloated, flubby cabinet sounds. We’ve included a mixer with two custom-captured impulse responses, specifically crafted to handle the extreme low frequencies of 7-, 8-, and 9-string guitars. They deliver maximum punch and clarity where other IRs fail.
- Practice & Capture Tools: Stay in the creative zone with a built-in Metronome to lock in your timing and an onboard Riff Recorder to instantly capture your moments of inspiration before they disappear.
Finally, An Amp That Speaks Your Language
Absylon was created for the dedicated community of extended-range players—the baritone wielders, the 7-string shredders, and the 8-string pioneers. We understand the unique challenges you face, and we’ve built the solution.
