Synth Palace MOD-FX 2.0 [WiN-MAC]

synth palace mod fx 2.0

Fourteen analog-modelled effect modules across two rack pages, a rack of LFOs, envelope followers and randomisers, plus Conductor, Compass and two step sequencers — all in a rack you build yourself. Nothing is wired until you wire it.

14 analog-modelled effects

Fourteen effects on two rack pages, each with an input and an output on the front panel.

5 modulators and two sequencers

Five modulators. LFO, envelope follower and randomiser, eight of each, plus Conductor and Compass. Every one patches into anything.

Route any output into any input

Two 8 step sequencers and 300 presets. Describe what you want, randomise, or cable it yourself.

Make the sound move. In five different ways.

What sets MOD-FX apart from other multi-effects is its numerous ways to modulate each parameter. Explore those options below.

LFO: Five shapes, free or locked.

Five shapes, free in Hz or locked to the host, in triplet or dotted time. Patch it into anything on the rack.

Envelope follower: Your playing, turned into movement.

The level of what you play becomes a control signal. Loud notes push harder, quiet ones let go.

Randomiser: Stepped, smooth or drunk.

Random motion, clocked or free. It rolls a new value and you decide how far it can land and how it gets there.

Advanced modulators: Compass and Conductor.

Compass is a joystick mixer: an effect on each of four corners, blended by hand, with drift and X/Y inputs to move the stick from anywhere in the rack. Conductor is six metal touch plates: strike one for a throw or move your hand across it, and whatever you play is recorded and loops in time with the track.

Step sequencers: Two 8 step sequencers.

Two independent sequencers of eight steps each. Point either one at any fader or knob in the rack, running in time with the track.
