LiveSaver is a Max for Live device that automatically saves your Ableton Live Sets on a schedule you choose. Set an interval, start it, and LiveSaver will trigger a save at that cadence while you work. The device’s look dynamically matches the Ableton Live theme you’re using.

- Custom backup folder — mirror every save into a folder of your choice as a timestamped .als copy. Pick any drive — local disk, external, NAS etc..
- Optional Save-As cadence — every N saves, LiveSaver triggers a full Save-As so you always have versioned snapshots of long sessions.
- Retention pruning — cap how many backups you keep; older copies are pruned automatically so things never balloon.
- Saved defaults — bake in your preferred interval, lock state, save-as cadence, retention, and backup-folder behavior as global defaults across every LiveSaver instance.

- Built with Max 9 and backwards-compatible with Ableton Live 11 — a single .amxd serves both Live 11 and Live 12.
