The York Audio KW 412 M25-SH Cab Pack is a meticulously crafted collection of Impulse Responses (IRs) that brings the legendary sound of a Kerry Wright 4×12 cabinet into the digital realm.

The KW 412 M25-SH is based on a Kerry Wright 4×12 cabinet loaded with Celestion G12M Greenback speakers, custom-built for Scott Henderson. The IR pack captures the essence of this legendary cabinet, delivering a tone that is both warm and thick in the low end, with a signature vocal midrange and a detailed and articulate top end. The result is a sound that offers remarkable note definition and string-to-string clarity, providing an utterly inspiring tone that has been fine-tuned to perfection.

The Cab Pack includes a standard York Audio feature set with captures of single mics and multi-mic Mixes. Additionally, it features a “Scott Henderson” folder containing his personal mic placements, offering users a glimpse into the artist’s own setup. The pack also includes three custom artist signature Mixes created for Jim Adkins of Jimmy Eat World, which he is currently using for his live tones, labeled “Mix JA 1-3.”

To ensure the highest fidelity, York Audio has made substantial studio upgrades, including mastering grade conversion, an expanded selection of microphones, and more mic preamps. A standout feature introduced with this IR pack is the addition of new Stereo Room captures and Stereo Mixes that provide a natural stereo image using real room ambience, giving users an “amp in the room” feeling when played through headphones or a stereo monitoring system.

The KW 412 M25-SH has been tested with various hardware units and DAW plugins to ensure seamless integration with digital modeling units. The IRs come in .WAV format in 24-bit 96k, 48k, and 44.1k files, with all IRs being 500ms for maximum resolution, catering to the needs of both studio recording and live performance environments.
