This plugin faithfully captures the essence of the original analog console while offering expanded features. The Helios consoles were renowned for their unique preamps, precise filters, and musical EQs. Lindell’s plugin combines two classic Helios EQs in one channel strip: the Pre-EQ-69 and the Passive 69. The Pre-EQ-69 is a 3-band active bell filter known for its musical boosts and cuts, while the Passive 69 is a 2-band shelving EQ valued for its smooth, musical response.
Additionally, the plugin includes the F760 Compressor/Limiter, which was used on iconic drum sounds in history. This compressor adds punch and clarity to recordings and offers variable attack, release, and ratio settings for flexibility.
