- Option for Double-Click Preset Loading: Customize your workflow by choosing the behavior when double-clicking a preset, offering flexibility in managing instrument slots.
- Loading Speed Improvement: Enhanced loading speed when switching between snapshots of an actively loaded instrument, initiated from the Library Browser.
- Increased Font Size: Improved readability with an increased font size in the Instrument Navigator.
- Instrument Focus Indicator: The orange strip indicating instrument focus is now exclusively visible in Rack View.
- Universal Resizer: Utilize the resizer from the Library Browser across all sections of Kontakt.
- “Open with…” OS Behaviors Support: Kontakt now supports OS behaviors with samples, allowing for the creation of instruments with specified sample mappings.
Bug Fixes:
- Crash with Kontrol mk3 Hardware Connection Service: Resolved crash issues when the Kontrol mk3 Hardware Connection Service was not installed on macOS.
- Crash after Changing Output Configuration: Fixed crashes occurring when playing a note after changing the output configuration with an already loaded preset.
- Replika Delay Fixes: Corrected issues with Replika delay in Diffusion mode not outputting sound when note duration was shorter than delay time and improved recall of delay time values in certain scenarios.
- Visual Glitches: Addressed visual glitches when resizing Kontakt’s window across multiple displays.
- CPU Overloads with Bypassed Replika Delay: Fixed CPU overloads during tempo ramps when Replika delay is bypassed.
API and KSP Enhancements:
- New KSP Callback: Introducing a new callback type for defining the behavior of all UI controls by their ID in a single callback, on ui_controls.
- Improved KSP Functionality: $EVENT_PAR_SOURCE now works in multi scripts.
- Added API Command: link_resource_container() command.
- API Improvements: Streamlined resource container creation by removing the requirement to type .nkr extension, and improved drag-and-drop functionality for Lua scripts onto Kontakt’s rack.
Known Issues:
- Logging Issue with VS Code: Logging incoming KSP/API messages is not working when Kontakt is started from VS Code (working when started from Sublime Text).
- Hover State Missing on New Menus: Hover state is missing from new menus when Kontakt is hosted as a plug-in on macOS.
