PSP NobleQ seamlessly fuses the timeless allure of passive program equalizers with an expansive array of frequency options and enhanced functionality. Elevating this plugin to a dynamic status, we’ve incorporated contemporary features like a customizable high pass filter and the ability to toggle the high peak and shelf filters between “Boost” and “Attenuation” modes.

Setting itself apart with its rich and inviting sound, PSP NobleQ boasts low-shelf filters for both boost and attenuation, coupled with a distinctive combined peak and shelf high-frequency processing. The warmth and musicality of PSP NobleQ are a result of its meticulous processing, employing FAT double sampling for a natural, analog-like response. Additionally, we’ve introduced an output valve-like rounding algorithm with adjustable processing depth.

The low-shelf filter ingeniously integrates two shelving sections: one for boosting low frequencies and another for attenuating them, slightly tuned higher. Together, they deliver a lush bottom end without the risk of low-midrange muddiness.

In the high-frequency realm, PSP NobleQ features two filters – a peaking filter with adjustable bandwidth (typically set to Boost) and a shelf filter (usually set to Attenuate). These filters interact harmoniously, creating a nuanced dynamic where increased attenuation to high frequencies enhances the selectiveness of the peaking filter, all while maintaining a boosted center frequency.
