Welcome to S1GNAL B1OME, a polyphonic drone synthesizer created by ambient producer and sound designer Chris Bryant of Ascendant, S1gns Of L1fe, and Starterra. Designed for evolving harmony, suspended texture, and slow, intentional movement, it transforms every note into an independent Tone Cell, allowing chords to breathe, shift, and develop while preserving the pitch and shape of your performance.
At the heart of S1GNAL B1OME is the Atlas, a continuous sound map that moves between Pure, Harmonic, Fractured, Mineral, and Fluid territories. Travel from clear tonal beds and luminous harmonic clouds into weathered metallic drones, glass-like resonance, granular matter, liquid motion, and airborne atmospheric detail. The instrument is equally at home creating ambient, space music, dark ambient, cinematic beds, and experimental soundscapes.
Deep Edit opens the complete architecture through five interconnected modules: Foundation, Harmonics, Matter, Motion, and Ensemble. Shape the instrument with FM, feedback, folding, resonance, grain, fluid textures, six-voice unison, stereo movement, and free-running or tempo-synced motion. The integrated Airglow Space environment lets you send the Core, Body, Air, and Texture layers into the reverb independently, creating sounds that remain focused at the center while blooming into vast, evolving spaces around them.
S1GNAL B1OME includes 20 factory starting points, with up to 16 independent Tone Cells sounding at once. Each preset is designed for immediate playability while leaving the full instrument open for exploration, customization, and the creation of your own living sound worlds.
