We’ve listened to your feedback and implemented several enhancements designed to speed up your workflow and provide greater creative flexibility:
- Smarter Grooves Tab: Finding and working with MIDI grooves is now even more efficient. Enjoy larger result view rows for better readability, clearer progress indication when linking folders, improved folder selection logic (including a new Select/Deselect menu), and smarter filter selection. Plus, you can now copy grooves directly from the results list using standard keyboard shortcuts (Cmd/Ctrl-C). The system now also detects changes made to user MIDI folders directly in your OS, prompting a resync when needed.
- Song Track & Grid Editor Refinements: Building and editing your drum tracks is more intuitive. Pasting MIDI onto a selected groove block now intelligently fills the entire block length. Audio exports gain useful naming prefix options and a choice to replace existing files. Within the Grid Editor, the expanded state of instrument rows is now saved with your project and retained when switching presets within the same library, maintaining your view across sessions. Unmapped notes are also visualized more clearly in both the Song Track and Grid Editor.
- General Usability Boosts: Enjoy viewing your EZdrummer 3 user presets directly within Superior Drummer 3’s preset menu. We’ve added a popular 50% GUI scaling option for more flexible screen real estate management. Mouse wheel behavior has been refined for most controls (with Shift-modifier for finer adjustments), and plug-in parameters now clearly reflect the macro names they control for easier automation mapping.
